Simply bend the ends of the blue cardstock holder down to make an elevated tray, scent the pad, and place the pad in the slot.  Place the device near and slightly below your machine's air intake (the air filter area on the back of your equipment). A light background scent works best. If the aroma is too strong, move it further away from the air intake or cut the pad. Reuse the pads freely.

Do not place scented pad directly on furniture! 

Wash hands after handling scented pad!
